Donation Policy

1.Introduction

This Donation Policy outlines the terms under which we receive, process, and utilize donations made by individuals, organizations, and institutions.
We operate under the provisions of the Indian Trusts Act, 1882, and the Income Tax Act, 1961, ensuring transparency and accountability in all our financial transactions.

2. Purpose of Donations

All donations received by Ayyaa Foundations are used exclusively for charitable, developmental, and welfare activities, including but not limited to:

Educational support for underprivileged children



Employment and entrepreneurship training programs



Healthcare and wellness initiatives



Women and youth empowerment programs

Funds are allocated according to program priorities, ensuring maximum impact and responsible use of resources.

3. Donation Methods

We accept contributions through multiple safe and convenient channels, including:

Online payments via our secure donation portal



Bank transfers, UPI, or cheque payments to the official trust account



Authorized third-party fundraising partners (where applicable)

All digital transactions are protected by encryption and adhere to the Information Technology Act, 2000, for secure data processing.

4. Donor Information & Privacy

We respect the privacy of our donors and safeguard all personal and financial information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Personal details such as names, addresses, and contact numbers are used only for administrative, legal, or acknowledgment purposes.
We do not sell, rent, or share donor data with third parties.

5. Receipts & Acknowledgment

Every donation received by Ayyaa Foundations is acknowledged with an official receipt containing the donor’s name, amount, transaction ID, and purpose of the contribution.
Receipts are issued via email or printed copies within a reasonable time frame.
Donors may also request their annual donation summary for tax filing purposes under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961, wherever applicable.

6. Refund & Cancellation

Once a donation is successfully processed, it is considered final and non-refundable.
However, if a transaction error or duplication occurs, donors may contact us within 7 working days from the transaction date.
Refunds, if applicable, will be processed after verification in accordance with our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

7. Transparency & Utilization

We are committed to maintaining transparency in financial operations.
Periodic reports, audited financial statements, and impact summaries are published on our official website.

8. International Donations

We also welcome contributions from international donors in compliance with the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA), 2010, where applicable.
All such donations are received through designated FCRA-approved channels and used for permissible charitable purposes only

9. Legal Compliance

Ayyaa Foundations complies with all applicable Indian laws including the Indian Trusts Act, 1882, Income Tax Act, 1961, FCRA, 2010, and IT Act, 2000.
Our operations, banking, and fund utilization processes follow strict ethical and legal standards.
