Refund & Cancellation Policy
1.Introduction
This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which donations, contributions, and payments made to Ayyaa Foundations are handled.
By making a donation or registering for any of our programs, you agree to comply with this policy.
The Foundation operates under the provisions of the Indian Trusts Act, 1882, the Income Tax Act, 1961 (Section 80G), and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
2. Donations
All donations made to Ayyaa Foundations are used to support our charitable programs in education, healthcare, women’s empowerment, youth development, and community welfare.
Once a donation is processed, it is considered final and non-refundable, as funds are immediately allocated toward ongoing welfare activities.
However, if a transaction is made in error (e.g., duplicate payment or incorrect amount), the donor must contact the Foundation within 7 working days of the transaction to request a review.
3. Eligibility for Refund
Refund requests will be considered only under specific and genuine circumstances, such as
Duplicate donations made by error.
Technical issues resulting in multiple charges.
Incorrect transaction entries due to system malfunction or human error.
Comply with legal or regulatory obligations.
All refund claims must include transaction details, payment proof, and donor identification. The Foundation reserves the right to verify and approve each claim before initiating any refund.
4. Refund Process
If the refund request is found valid after verification, the amount will be refunded using the original mode of payment within 10–15 working days.
In certain cases, administrative or transaction charges may be deducted.
The donor will be notified via email or SMS once the refund process is completed.
The Foundation does not entertain refund requests for funds already utilized in welfare activities or distributed under specific donor instructions
5. Event or Program Cancellations
For workshops, training sessions, or awareness programs organized by Ayyaa Foundations:
In case of cancellation by the Foundation, participants are entitled to a full refund or an option to transfer registration to another event.
If a participant cancels their registration, refund eligibility depends on the notice period provided:
7 days or more before the event: 75% refund.
Less than 7 days: No refund (transfer to another event may be considered)
Refunds will be processed within 10–15 working days after verification.
6. Tax Exemption Receipts
Donations made under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961 are eligible for tax exemption.
If a refund is processed for a donation, the corresponding tax exemption certificate will automatically become invalid and must not be used for tax claims.
7. Policy Changes
Ayyaa Foundations reserves the right to modify or update this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time to ensure legal compliance and operational transparency.
Any updates will be reflected on our website, and donors are encouraged to review the policy periodically.
